I didn’t realize how badly I’ve been neglecting the site, I can’t believe it’s been over a month since I’ve given an update. I’ve been spending more and more time over at G+, there’s so many talented artists from all over the world it’s mind blowing at times. I wish I could say that I’ve been too busy with other things but I really haven’t, I do have a little new material I’ve shot and a project I attempted that was pretty interesting. I think I’ll cover the project another time though, I want to get better results from it than I have.
I have been out a little with George shooting, really more than I thought I had been. I’ve also been more critical of things since getting in to G+ so much. It’s tough to compare your work to that many talented artists. It gets intimidating sometimes and a little depressing when you’re over critical of your own results. I’ve posted a lot of stuff over there though and it’s gotten a decent reception, nothing spectacular considering the number of people I have following me but I’m happy when I get four or five pluses and amazed when I get over fifteeen.
Something new you’ll notice is that little bit under the images here on the blog, the buy me now choices, I’m integrating a company that will print and ship images to you the hallowed reader. I’m not going to beg for money or anything like that but seriously, if you like something enough then buy it, I’m going to price things reasonably. I don’t need to make a killing, just would like to make a buck or two from this thing. I’m working on figuring out expanding that functionality to the main pages also. Until then if you see something, say something. There’s a contact link above and I encourage you to use it even if it’s just to tell me I suck.
Now on to the pictures, I don’t really have stories behind these, they’re almost exclusively from White Memorial. the blind up there and the museum area is pretty rife with birds. I’m still waiting on snow though, Cardinals, Juncos, Jays and assorted other winter birds just don’t look right without snow on the ground.
On to the pictures:
